Organic Árbol Dried Chili
The Árbol chili or "Chile de Árbol" literally translates to “Tree Chili”. It is grown in many places around the world now, but it is endemic to the Los Altos region of Jalisco, Mexico. The combination of the soil, altitude and climate of the region makes the Árbol from this region quite fiery and delicious.
Árbol chilies are widely used for their sharp acidic heat rounded out by natural almost nutty side notes. The árbol chili is quite hot compared to many other chilies, registering 30,000 to 50,000 on the Scoville scale, much like the Cayenne pepper.
