The bicuixe agave is perhaps the most prevalent of all the agaves in the Karwinski family. This robust mezcal has strong leather and animal from the fermentation, as well as some sweetness and smoke in the nose. In the flavor it’s much lighter, with only hints of smoke.
The best way to appreciate the unique flavors and aromas of Bicuixe mezcal is by serving at room temperature. We would not recommend drinking on the rocks or mix in cocktails, as the quality of this mezcal justifies drinking itself.
