This mezcal is made on the wild agave mexicano. Mexicano is a part of the Rodacantha family of agaves. The mexicano variety has a citrusy notes to begin with, and ends on a more green and dry note with some smoke at the end.
Serving Suggestion
The best way to appreciate the unique flavors and aromas of Mexicano mezcal is by serving at room temperature. We would not recommend drinking on the rocks or mix in cocktails, as the quality of this mezcal justifies drinking itself.
