Description

In the mood for some spicy crispy chicken? Then our spicy Panko-Crusted Chicken recipe is just for you! It's delicious, simple, and once the chicken is prepared, you can use it in quesadillas, serve it with rice, a salad, or just eat it on its own with a bit of lemon or lime.

Steps

  1. Slice the chicken breasts into thin slices.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs with the milk and 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of pepper, 1 tsp of paprika and 1 tsp of the garlic powder. You can also add a few drops of our Blackened Habanero Sauce into the mixture if you want your chicken to be extra spicy. Then, place the chicken into the bowl and gently mix with your hands until the meat is completely covered with the mixture.
  3. In a large plate or platter, pour the panko and mix it with the remaining ingredients.
  4. In a pan heat up the oil, and place a plate on the side with some paper towel on top for when the chicken has been fried.
  5. Take a slice of chicken and coat with the panko on both sides. Place chicken into the pan once the oil is heated, and remove once it has a beautiful golden brown color on each side. Repeat this process until you're done.
  6. Slice the fried chicken into smaller pieces and pour a bit of our Blackend Habanero Sauce on top. You can finish off by adding your favorite garnish, we chose scallions.
  7. Buen provecho!
